I am a devoted yoga practitioner and facilitator
After my first teacher training (Yoga Alliance RYT 200) in classical Hatha Yoga with Poonam Stecher Sharma in Zurich and the advanced teacher training (Yoga Alliance RYT 300) with Stephen Thomas, I have studied with Shiva Rea (Prana Vinyasa), Badarinarayana Iyengar (Ashtanga Vinyasa), Sri Guruji BNS Iyengar (Body Mudra), Vijay Kumar (Ashtanga), Dr. M.A. Jayashree (Vedic Chanting), just to mention some!
I will be forever grateful to all my teachers, for sharing their immense wisdom with such an open heart.
How did all start?
As I wrote here and here I went through a long process of spiritual growth that eventually brought me back to my essence, my true Self.
I have been practicing classical ballet for 15 years, and one day I decided to stop; it wasn’t serving me anymore, and I lost the joy it gave me as a child.
Instead, I started running in nature, with no music or company: just me, the wind, the birds, and my breath.
If I look back I realize that that was the first form of meditation I ever experienced, I just didn’t know it.
At that time, I was a yoga-skeptic and also not particularly religious: I would have never pursued “something spiritual” on my own.
Actually, I had more and more often an overwhelming feeling of being in the wrong movie, as I wrote here. And that feeling needed urgent action!
My first meeting with yoga was purely random. Or maybe not?…
Most probably, I was just ready for it.
One day a dear friend wanted to ask for some information at the local Bikram yoga studio, and we quickly stopped by.
She also convinced me to take a trial session with her. I was reluctant, but I liked the challenge of the heated room, so I joined the class.
Well, I loved that sense of clarity and lightness after the class and came back again, and again and again!
The seed of yoga had been ignited.
I kept practicing the Bikram method for a couple of more months, to then explore deeper practices, other asanas styles, discover meditation, pranayama, philosophy, embody yoga into my life.
My path had started, and I never looked back ever since.
When you are on the right path, life flows
That feeling of being out of place or in the wrong movie is now just a memory.
I re-connected with my inner child, re-discovered my natural talents and live every day with my life purpose in the center of my heart!
Embracing my full potential, I’m driven by my heart, and I flow through life full of trust and gratitude.
My mission in this life is to spread joy, peace, connection, to facilitate the yoga residing in each one of us.
